Tell us about your event
The Anglo-Scottish Badminton Tournament is a team event consisting of eight teams of ten players. Each team has five girls and five boys. For this under 12s tournament there were three English teams and five Scottish.
Why did you choose the national centre?
As this event was for under 12s safeguarding was a top priority for us. It was very important that all children were safe in the one building. We used the sports hall, dining room and residential facilities. Nowhere else gives us this security.

The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much bother. The setup on arrival meant we could just start our Tournament straight away.

What was a highlight of your visit?
The players and coaches were blown away by the bedrooms and the views from the windows!
