Fire Evacuation Information

Fire & evacuation procedure

  • If the fire alarm sounds, you should evacuate the building and make your way to the nearest assembly point in carpark 1.

  • If you are located on one of our accommodation floors, and are unable to evacuate using the stairwells, you should make your way to a temporary waiting space to be evacuated in the lift by the fire service. This is an area of relative safety which provides one hour of protection from fire.

  • Temporary waiting spaces are located in the lift lobby on both ends of the accommodation floors.  There is a green communication panel in each zone. You should press the silver button on the communication panel and wait in situ for further instruction from the onsite team or the fire service.

PEEP (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan)

Prior to arriving on site, each guest will be required to complete personal emergency evacuation plan (PEEP) if:

  • they are not able to evacuate via the stairwells without assistance.

  • are hearing impaired and would need an additional alert to a fire alarm.

Emergency evacuation sledges and deaf guards are available on request & should be detailed on your PEEP.  Any guest requiring assistance to evacuate is required to identify this support from person(s) within their group.

Your completed PEEP form will inform the centre of information or equipment that is required to support individuals to safely evacuate the building in the event of a fire or emergency.

Please find PEEP form below for completion (if applicable):
