Summer of Sport 2026

Join us at sportscotland national centre Inverclyde to engage in Scotland’s summer of sport, where partners can utilise the comprehensive residential sports facilities onsite, to deliver transformative experiences in sport for a range of organisations.

The centre hosts a wide range of groups from across the sporting system, including SGBs, clubs, schools, and partner organisations. It is a regular base for pathway and performance training camps, competitive events, along with a thriving schools programme. In addition, the centre also plays hosts to a range of young leader and other active school programmes from local partners across Scotland.

The centre’s targeted work to increase participation amongst underrepresented groups have resulted in groups including care experienced young people and young carers, along with black & ethnic minority groups, along with school groups in identified areas of SIMD need.

The centre regularly works within the disability sport sphere, and is the first UK residential sports centre of its kind – designed for inclusivity.

Local partners are encouraged to consider how they could use the centre to actively support engagement with targeted groups through summer of sport funding.
